Gastric Cancer Patient: Tumor Lesion Transformed Into Gastritis After 40 Days of Medication

October 22, 2026

Four months ago, 60-year-old Song Moli from Xinyang, Henan Province, developed sudden low back pain and was diagnosed with moderately to poorly differentiated adenocarcinoma of the cardia and gastric fundus at a local hospital. Doctors recommended surgery combined with radiotherapy and chemotherapy, but she refused out of fear of surgical risks and side effects.
Her family first sought local TCM treatment for her. After taking herbal medicine for more than a month, her low back pain was relieved in the early stage, yet gastric discomfort gradually worsened with frequent nausea and vomiting, forcing her to discontinue the medicine. She then took fluorouracil orally for 20 days together with proprietary Chinese medicines, but her condition continued to deteriorate. When they were at a loss, an old neighbor told them that his relative had achieved remarkable recovery from cancer under the treatment of Director Zhang at Jiaozuo Zhonghai TCM Cancer Hospital. After learning about the hospital and reviewing numerous recovery cases online, her son took his mother to the hospital for treatment.
At the time of consultation, she suffered from severe low back pain, unbearable acid regurgitation and heartburn. Her weight dropped from 44 kg to 40 kg, and she needed assistance while walking. After a thorough evaluation of her overall condition, Director Zhang formulated a targeted treatment plan: an empirical formula for gastric tumors modified according to symptoms, combined with Hua’ai Xiaoliu Powder.

After 10 days of medication, Ms. Song’s low back pain was alleviated, and her heartburn and acid regurgitation disappeared completely. Following 40 doses of Chinese herbal medicine, all symptoms subsided, and her weight rose back to 43 kg. Reexamination results showed that the original cancerous lesion had turned into erosive gastritis, marking a significant clinical improvement.
