On August 14, 2019, Jiaozuo Zhonghai Tumor Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine was invited to participate in the signing ceremony of the "Second Batch of National Clinical Research Base of Traditional Chinese Medicine Scientific Research Special Subject Scientific Research Cooperation Conference" held in Henan Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and signed a contract with 15 large and medium-sized hospitals of traditional Chinese medicine in the province, becoming the "Second Batch of National Clinical Research Base of Traditional Chinese Medicine Scientific Research Special Subject Scientific Research Cooperation Units" led by the Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Henan Province.

Zheng Yuling, former president of Henan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, vice chairman of the Hospital Management Association of the Chinese Society of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and doctoral supervisor, pointed out in the introduction of the special scientific research project that: at present, the understanding of cancer in the medical community has been constantly improved, and the relevant biomedical technology and tumor treatment methods have also been actively expanded, and China's traditional Chinese medicine has also played a huge role in promoting tumor treatment. The purpose of launching special research on esophageal cancer is to integrate the high-quality resources of traditional Chinese medicine hospitals and cancer hospitals across the province, form a collaborative force, and launch 16 special research projects on the etiology, pathogenesis, treatment, prescription and other research directions of esophageal cancer, explore a comprehensive and scientific treatment path for esophageal cancer, and contribute to the cause of cancer prevention and treatment in our province.

Zhang Maomao, president of Jiaozuo Zhonghai Traditional Chinese Medicine Oncology Hospital, said that this collaborative meeting means that the Chinese medicine industry will gather the strength of the whole province to fight for the grand event and open the dawn of life for patients with esophageal cancer. Our hospital has been listed as the scientific research cooperation unit of the special scientific research project of the National Clinical Research Base of Traditional Chinese Medicine, demonstrating the technical strength, scientific research level, hospital construction and management ability in the field of medical research of esophageal cancer. Through cooperation with the high-level scientific research team of our province, it will greatly promote the scientific research construction, clinical trials and talent training of the hospital, and provide strong support for improving the core competitiveness of the hospital.
