1. "drilling operation"

Through these small holes, some special instruments are used to complete the operation of gastric cancer, that is, the so-called "drilling operation". Through some special devices, doctors inject medical gas into the abdominal cavity through the hole to establish the biosphere of endoscopic surgery. Subsequently, the camera system can realize the live broadcast in the abdominal cavity, and the enlarged high-definition image can be obtained through the display. Doctors can watch high-definition images while using special instruments to perform examinations and operations.
2. The difference between "punching operation" and traditional laparotomy.
"drilling operation" is a minimally invasive operation which is widely accepted by surgeons. Laparoscopic surgery has the great advantages of larger surgical field of vision, smaller surgical incision, smaller trauma, less pain, faster recovery, earlier time to get out of bed, less postoperative complications and shorter hospital stay. But at the same time, the technical requirements for surgeons are higher, so at present, drilling surgery for malignant tumors is still recommended to be carried out by experienced doctors in large regional medical centers.
