Surgery is the first choice for the treatment of ovarian germinoma. Because most of the patients are young, it is feasible to preserve the reproductive function. The contraindication of fertility preserving surgery is sex chromosome abnormality. It is worth emphasizing that preoperative evaluation is very important. In the absence of sex chromosome abnormalities, regardless of tumor stage, the prognosis of fertility preserving surgery was consistent with that of bilateral adnexal plus total hysterectomy.
