On the morning of November 14, a delegation from the Sanmenxia Municipal Health Commission and Sanmenxia Medical Association visited Jiaozuo Zhonghai Traditional Chinese Medicine Cancer Hospital for on-site observation and exchange.
Zhang Maomao, the party branch secretary and dean of Jiaozuo Zhonghai Traditional Chinese Medicine Cancer Hospital, along with Wang Baoyou, the operating dean, and Zhang Tingting, the business dean, had an honest and in-depth friendly exchange with the leaders of Sanmenxia Health Commission and Sanmenxia Medical Association, as well as oncology experts from Sanmenxia Central Hospital and Sanmenxia City Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine. They also conducted field visits to the inpatient department, outpatient department, traditional Chinese medicine pharmacy, preparation room, love restaurant, tumor rehabilitation department, and the ideological and political education base in Wuzhi County invested and constructed by the hospital.
Party branch secretary and dean Zhang Maomao warmly welcomed the delegation from Sanmenxia Health Commission and Sanmenxia Medical Association. He gave a detailed introduction to the development history and core competitiveness of the hospital, and made a special exchange on the inheritance of "Zhang's Chinese Medicine Family" culture with a history of over 350 years, the clinical application of core technologies of traditional Chinese medicine in cancer treatment, the teaching of traditional Chinese medicine tumor doctors, the progress of the medical and nursing combination project, and the development of ideological and political education activities.
Business dean Zhang Tingting comprehensively introduced the "Tumor Non-invasive Green Therapy" comprehensive treatment model based on the theoretical basis of the overall concept of traditional Chinese medicine, creating a multidisciplinary medical technology collaboration and support. The recently launched "Wahlberg Therapy" explores new treatment approaches and modes to benefit more cancer patients.
Zhang Shusheng, a famous traditional Chinese medicine expert from Sanmenxia City Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Li Hongyan, an oncology expert from Sanmenxia Central Hospital, said that President Zhang Maomao's introduction was very detailed, and Zhonghai Hospital's traditional Chinese medicine cancer treatment technology was truly impressive and had great potential. He also pointed out that scientific research is an important support for the development of hospitals, and hospitals should further strengthen scientific research and accumulate more evidence-based medical data.
Cao Yi, secretary and deputy director of the Sanmenxia City Creative Health Office, and Li Youwei, secretary-general of the Sanmenxia Medical Association, emphasized that the unique characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine should be fully utilized to actively participate in the whole process management of tumor treatment, complement Western medicine treatment methods, and provide higher-quality medical services for patients.
Finally, Liu Zhenggang, deputy director of the Wuzhi County Health Commission, summarized that traditional Chinese medicine has unique advantages in improving symptoms of tumor patients, prolonging survival time, and improving quality of life, especially in the treatment of advanced tumors. Medical institutions should actively carry out scientific research cooperation, strive for more policy support, and make greater breakthroughs in the field of traditional Chinese medicine oncology.
