On July 27, 2024, a delegation from Jiaozuo Zhonghai TCM Oncology Hospital was invited to visit the Embassy of the Republic of Madagascar (English: The Republic of Madagascar, French: La République de Madagascar) in China. Ambassador Jean Louis Robinson warmly welcomed the delegation's visit as scheduled. The two sides held a cordial and friendly meeting on international cooperation projects and technical exchanges in the medical field. Ambassador Jean Louis Robinson first introduced the basic national conditions of the Republic of Madagascar, the current situation of its medical and health services, the incidence of malignant tumors, and the demand for traditional Chinese medicine. Then, he expressed a strong willingness to enhance medical cooperation. He said that Jiaozuo Zhonghai TCM Oncology Hospital is at the international forefront in the treatment of esophageal cancer, and its treatment of various squamous cell carcinomas is also quite distinctive, which is admired by the industry. The Malagasy government is highly anticipating that well-known Chinese medical institutions such as Jiaozuo Zhonghai TCM Oncology Hospital, experts and scholars in the field of traditional Chinese medicine, will invest in the medical and health industry in Madagascar and establish medical institutions, enabling the treasures of traditional Chinese medicine to make positive contributions to improving the well-being of the Malagasy people.
President Zhang Maomao introduced the medical characteristics and core technologies of traditional Chinese medicine tumor treatment of Jiaozuo Zhonghai TCM Oncology Hospital through the explanation of typical cases in the form of PPT. Zhang Zhonghai, the academic president of Jiaozuo Zhonghai TCM Oncology Hospital and an expert in traditional Chinese medicine oncology, demonstrated traditional medical skills such as pulse diagnosis and visual diagnosis to the ambassador.
After the meeting between the guests and the hosts, the two sides reached a consensus on deepening exchanges, integrating resources, promoting cooperation, introducing traditional Chinese medicine tumor treatment technologies, and jointly promoting cultural exchanges of traditional Chinese medicine oncology through the opportunity of cross-cultural exchanges and other key cooperation projects. The Malagasy authorities will select the first batch of 10 international students to study traditional Chinese medicine tumor treatment technologies at Jiaozuo Zhonghai TCM Oncology Hospital. Jiaozuo Zhonghai TCM Oncology Hospital will also provide convenient medical conditions and favorable rehabilitation environments, accept tumor patients recommended by the Malagasy government for medical treatment in China, and build a bridge of friendship to enhance understanding between China and Madagascar.
After being awarded the certificate of "Special Health Care Expert Appointed by the Ambassador of Madagascar to China", Mr. Zhang Zhonghai presented his medical work "Collection of Clinical Application Experiences of Chinese Herbal Medicine" and the long non-fiction literary work "The Legend of the King of Tumor Treatment", which showcases his more than 40 years of medical career, to Ambassador Jean Louis Robinson. Ambassador Jean Louis Robinson happily inscribed on the title page of the book, "Sincerely thank you for your dedication to the development of traditional Chinese medicine" and "Sincerely thank and wish President Zhang Zhonghai - the great practitioner of traditional Chinese medicine success".
Ambassador Jean Louis Robinson holds a doctorate in medicine and has served as the Minister of the Ministry of Health of Madagascar, the President of the Medical Association, and the Honorary President of the Medical Association. He has made positive contributions to safeguarding the people's health and preventing malignant tumors and multiple infectious diseases. Since serving as the Ambassador of Madagascar to China, he has injected new vitality into promoting economic, cultural, and health exchanges between China and Madagascar and promoting friendly cooperation between the two countries. Ambassador Jean Louis Robinson also awarded the certificate of "Invited Health Care Traditional Chinese Medicine Physician of the Ambassador of Madagascar to China" to Zhang Maomao, Zhang Tingting, Zhang Shumeng, Sun Ting, Zhang Fan, etc., the 15th generation inheritors of the "Zhang's Family of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners" with an international perspective and cultural exchange capabilities. Ms. Miao Guixiang, the founder and investor of Jiaozuo Zhonghai TCM Oncology Hospital, and other relevant personnel accompanied the visit.
