From November 23rd to 28th, 2025, Zhang Maomao, Vice President of the Jiaozuo Young Generation Private Entrepreneurs Association and President of Jiaozuo Zhonghai Traditional Chinese Medicine Tumor Hospital, was invited to visit the Haoen Health Examination Center in Chongqing, the Century Hospital in Qianfeng District of Guang'an City, Sichuan Province, the Qianfeng District Elderly Nursing Home, and the Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture in Hunan Province, to conduct research and investigation on the integration of medical care and elderly care, as well as the broader health industry.
1. Chongqing Haoen Health Examination Center
The Haoen Health Examination Center, located in Jiangbei District, Chongqing, is a private enterprise introduced and strongly supported by the Liangjiang New Area in Chongqing. It is a large one-stop health examination service institution specializing in health examination, health management, and health services. It boasts world-class medical examination equipment, international medical management models, and expert teams in medical fields such as ultrasonography and infrared thermography.
Accompanied by Gan Wenchao, Deputy General Manager of the Strategic Development Department of the Physical Examination Center, Dean Zhang and his delegation visited the independently set up general examination area, high-end area, female area, and VIP area of the center. They spoke highly of its standardized health management system process, personalized physical examination, internationally advanced health management model, and capsule endoscopy medical examination project.
As the legal representative and shareholder of multiple integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine clinics and traditional Chinese medicine clinics management companies, Gan Wenchao also had in-depth discussions with President Zhang on cooperation in the areas of core tumor technology, nodule disease treatment advantages, and the development and application of traditional Chinese medicine moxibustion products owned by Zhonghai Traditional Chinese Medicine Tumor Hospital, and established a cooperation intention.
II. Guang'an Qianfeng Century Hospital
Guang'an Qianfeng Century Hospital is a vice-chairman unit of the Federation of Industry and Commerce (Chamber of Commerce) of Qianfeng District, Guang'an City, and a well-known local private enterprise in Qianfeng District. It holds a leading position among similar hospitals in Qianfeng District and even Guang'an City.
Mao Ping, the chairman of the hospital, currently serves as a member of the Political Consultative Conference of Qianfeng District, Guang'an City, the president of the Qianfeng District New Federation, and the chairman of Sichuan Shencheng Elderly Care Service Co., Ltd. He specializes in the treatment of digestive system diseases using a combination of traditional Chinese and Western medicine. In June this year, he became a disciple and academic successor under Professor Zhang Zhonghai, the founder of Jiaozuo Zhonghai Traditional Chinese Medicine Tumor Hospital and the contemporary "Tumor Treatment King".
At his kind invitation, Dean Zhang made a special trip to Qianfeng Century Hospital for an in-depth exchange. Dean Zhang provided many insightful and constructive suggestions regarding the hospital's environmental renovation, the establishment of a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) oncology department, the gradual transformation into a specialized TCM oncology hospital, as well as hospital management and operations.
III. Guang'an Qianfeng District Elderly Care Home
The Guang'an Qianfeng District Elderly Care Home is a comprehensive elderly care home with a "public construction and private assistance" attribute, invested and built by the government. It covers an area of 25 acres and has 300 beds, providing various functional supporting services and entertainment facilities to meet the elderly's diverse needs for retirement, truly realizing "happy retirement under professional care".
Mao Ping, the chairman of the Qianfeng District Elderly Care Home, introduced that we have actively explored and established a closed-loop management system of "real-time monitoring - intelligent early warning - rapid disposal - quality traceability", and a new elderly care model featuring "data-driven + humanized service", opening a new chapter in smart elderly care. In October this year, during her research in Guang'an City, Shi Xiaolin, the Deputy Secretary of the Sichuan Provincial Party Committee and Governor of Sichuan Province, spoke highly of our smart elderly care model.
Mao Ping explained, "In the past, manual room inspection was not only inefficient but also prone to oversight. Now, with the intelligent management platform, we can monitor the physical condition of the elderly in real-time 24/7, making nursing care more precise and efficient. In case of emergencies, we can handle them quickly, successfully establishing a new elderly care model driven by data and humanized services. The intelligent nursing beds are equipped with smart monitoring and warning devices, which can monitor vital signs such as heart rate, breathing, and blood pressure in real-time and feed the monitoring data back to the intelligent management platform in real-time. Once abnormalities are detected, the system will automatically issue a warning, and nursing staff will respond quickly and take timely intervention measures to safeguard the health of the elderly.".
"You are indeed at the forefront of the elderly care industry, and the smart elderly care model has broad significance for popularization," said Dean Zhang, who was deeply moved after visiting the nursing room and monitoring room.
IV. Hunan Xiangxi's Health Industry
The Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture is rich in traditional Chinese medicinal materials. Leveraging a complete industrial chain encompassing the cultivation, processing, and sales of these materials, it has established a demonstration base for traditional Chinese medicine health tourism, achieving a deep integration of traditional Chinese medicine culture and health tourism.
Comrade Liu Tao, currently serving as the Secretary of the CPC Xiangxi Autonomous Prefecture Committee and the First Secretary of the Party Committee of Jishou Military Sub-district, previously held the position of Deputy Secretary of the CPC Jiaozuo Municipal Committee in Henan Province. He highlighted that Jiaozuo is the birthplace of the "Four Major Huai Medicines" and a popular tourist destination. It shares similarities with Xiangxi in terms of abundant authentic medicinal materials, a rich heritage of traditional Chinese medicine culture, and an integrated model of medical care, elderly care, and tourism. At the same time, there are complementarities in terms of differences in resource types, directions for industrial chain extension, and market positioning. The development of health products derived from the homology of medicine and food in Xiangxi Autonomous Prefecture and the deep processing of traditional Chinese medicinal materials in Jiaozuo City can foster synergistic development from planting to deep processing, paving the way for a joint brand of "Xiang Medicine - Huai Medicine".
As the Vice President of the Jiaozuo Young Private Entrepreneurs Association, Dean Zhang, during a tea gathering with local young entrepreneurs, stated that the health industry is facing unprecedented development opportunities.
